Administrative Maps
This page provides information on administrative boundaries in Iranian Baluchestan during the Qajar Era.
This is a British map of the Makran coast's administrative structure under the Qajar dynasty, created as part of the "Administration Report on the Persian Gulf Political Residency for 1905–1906".
This image is taken from the Bahrain Historical Archaeological Society's copy of the report (unfortunately, the Qatar Digital Library's copy of the report leaves the map blank.)
From left to right, the map shows the districts of Minab, Biyaban, and Jask (part of the Gulf Ports Province), the Geh district (containing the Qibleh/Dasht (coastal) subdistricts of Karwan, Balak, Bandini, Bir, Kair, Sirgan, and Parag), and the districts of Dashtiyari and Bahu.
